Learn MoreI arrived earlier than scheduled. I had not realized I was 12 hours earlier. They informed me about the time. I said thank you and left. On the way to leave the parking lot I received a call and was told that if I wanted, that they did have an opening at that time. I went back and they were very helpful. During the process I became a little apprehensive and squeezed the alert button. The nurse came in and talked to me and helped alleviate my anxiety. Very nice people there.
They didn't have my IV in correctly and the guy that was supposed to put me out injecting my IV the fluid went into my arm and my wrist and forearm were swollen. I never went under. So I was awake for the entire procedure. Not good! I hope they don't charge me for that because I don't feel like I need to pay for something I didn't receive.
MEC was so efficient. No waiting for anything. Every moment was utilized for the endoscopy. Nurses were attentive, friendly, informing. They even called the next day to ask how i felt, and to answer any questions. I wish everyplace was like it.
